Transition Services

A support system is put in place that reaches beyond our walls so students leaving our facility are able to re-socialize, reintegrate, and restart knowing they have resources in their community. Teacher Advocates are assigned to transition students from our program to their next educational environment in addition to the many services provided by Williamson County. We hold a meeting with receiving schools to increase the comfort level of the students, but also to ensure that the knowledge we have gained about tools that work for each student is directly communicated to their new campuses to ensure a continuity of support.
